LASER VEIN REMOVAL
LASERS can provide safe and efficacious treatments for broken capillaries, rosy cheeks, red freckles or cherrangiomas. It is estimated that 30% of men and 70% of women will have some venous disorder.  Heredity is considered to be the primary contributing factor for causing varicose and spider veins. Undulating hormones at puberty, pregnancy and menopause adversely affect this condition which is also worsened by the use of birth control pills as well as estrogen and progesterone pills.   Age, standing occupations, obesity and leg injuries are other predisposing factors that also affect the condition. Benign vascular lesions are overgrown enlarged blood vessels or multiple small vessels. Medical lasers provide a non-invasive, no "down time" treatments for these benign skin conditions as well as for broken capillaries. These vessels are treated by targeting the red blood cells and coagulating the vessels, making them no longer visible. The laser is safe and effective because of its unique ability to selectively treat the blood vessels of a vascular lesion without adversely affecting the surrounding tissue. Thus, it will eliminate many lesions while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.

How many treatments are needed?
Many leg veins need multiple treatments, often over a few months before the effect is complete. Even small vessels may require some time to resolve. Sometimes a bit of "matting" or "staining" surrounds the treated vesse This resolves over time.

TREATS:-
  • Very small vessels which make the skin look red(facial spider veins, broken capillaries) usually around the nose, cheek area and legs.  These appear as small red/pink threads under the surface skin.
  • Larger visible vessels red or purple lines in the skin
  • Spider angioma - central red area with finer vessels extending around it.
  • Cherry angiomas, little round red dots
